This very unique south asian cultural place in Hoofddorp , The Netherlands is jointly inagurate by the ambassador of Nepal for the Benelux, H.E. Ram Mani Pokharel and Deputy Mayor of Haarlemmermeer, John C.W. Nederstigt in april 2013. In the official opening ceremony, diplomats, tourism representatives from India and Nepal, artists/guests from Nepal and many other friends and Indian-Nepali food lovers were present. In their short speech the ambassdor and Mayor expressed their greetings to the new entrepreneur in Haarlemermeer and both of them stated that Namaste House Hoofddorp is a pioneer in bringing new taste and culture to the young municipality Haarlemermmer and this effort can help in cultural exchange and to enhanced diplomatic relation between Nepal and The Netherlands. Meanwhile, Tourism representative of Nepal and India gave brief highlights of beauty and tourism attraction of respective lands.Nepali folk band, Himchuli Cultural group had performed live music and a young artist, Samira Baruwal had perfomed beautiful Nepali dance. Decorative and delicious dinner buffet and culturally dressed personels were the another realistic attraction of the day where almost hundreds of guests have enjoyed the remarkable evening !
